by cash, payment must be made at the time of the session. Personal
cheques and money orders must be mailed to us and clear before
the date of the session or event, unless you are an established
client and have prior permission to pay by cheque at the
time of the session or event.
Most clients choose to pay over the phone, providing their credit card details during the call. This is the absolute safest choice, as your credit card information is never entered digitally. There are other safe choices as well.

Paying for Massage with Cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrency payments are accepted prior to session ONLY. Accepting BitCoin (BTC) and DOGEcoin. Please complete payment at least 12 hours before the session when paying in this manner.
Card On File for Cancellations
A credit card must be placed on file, even if planning to pay with cash. In the rare event that you must cancel outside the 24 hour window, you are required to pay 50% of the total cost of the session, less tax. Our therapists will not be earning any money during this time and it's only fair they get paid because they turned down other work to help YOU. Our therapists need to survive; they are helpful, but this is their livelihood,and not charity. They and their families need to eat, too. If you cancel within six hours of the session, 100% of the fees, less tax, will be due, and charged to your card on file. The good part: We will give you a coupon for a future session at an EXTREMELY steep, unbelievable discount. After a few sessions, you will be squared away. We are not here to stress you or take your funds, only make sure everything runs smoothly, and no one is taken advantage of, purposefully or otherwise.
Deposits
There is a deposit necessary for booking some services, such as Chair Massage, Events, and Kids Spa Parties. This must be paid to reserve your date and time with our therapists. Please remember: calling and talking about a date and time does not reserve that date and time! Until the deposit is paid, consider that we may not have sufficient numbers of therapists still available at the date and time we discussed, as new appointments are set up daily with reserved dates and times.
Package Pricing Discount for Therapeutic Massage
Package Pricing is available, customarily in packages of 5, 10, 20, 40 sessions. If you want a custom specific number of in-home Therapeutic Massage sessions, that is doable as well. Sessions may be shared amongst family members living at the same address.
In-Home Massages Multi-Session Package Upgrades
If upgrading from a five session to ten session package, the second set of five sessions will be discounted at the 10 session price, but the first five sessions, already paid at a higher rate, stand, and the Therapeutic Massage patient is not entitled to any refunds or reimbursements. (The same is true for any package upgrade.)
Insurance
Mountainside On-Site Massage Therapy provides Therapeutic Massage, Lactation Counseling Services, and Infant Massage Classes, all of which are covered by health insurance policies. There may be limitations set by your insurance carrier, as well as your doctor's diagnosis. Please see below for further details.
Taxes
Mountainside On-Site Massage Therapy is authorized to collect taxes for non-medical services rendered in New York and New Jersey. The tax rate in New York is 4.25%, while the tax rate in New Jersey is 6.625%.
Nonprofits
Nonprofit organizations do not pay taxes. Please provide your tax exemption certificate.
No Travel Fees
Mountainside On-Site Massage Therapy never charges travel fees of any sort.

Gift Cards are re-fillable and may be set up with a minimum balance of $160. Refilling the card entitles bearer to 9.25% discount on services purchased, going forward with re-fills. Cannot be combined with other offers. Card may be shared by family members. No fees. Card does not expire.
Gift Certificates do not expire, either, and may only be transferred to another person, with express permission of Gift Certificate recipient. A printable, or mailed glossy print custom card, is included with every order. We can send it to the gift recipient via e-mail or the USPS.

available, as you need not enter any confidential credit card

Insurance
In 2023, many Health Care Plans do cover Therapeutic Massage. We would be happy to speak with your provider. We will work to ensure that you receive the insurance payments you are entitled to by the terms of your insurance company plan. The amount that you will pay as a co-payment depends entirely upon the specifics of your plan, as well as your deductible. In most instances, payment is completed as usual at the time service is rendered, and you will receive your insurance reimbursement later from your insurer. (This is not true for all patients.)

We will work with you to get compensated by your insurance plan or no-fault accident coverage. We can't promise that your insurance will cover your treatment, however, we would be willing to speak with you to help you determine how to proceed with the highest chance of being reimbursed for a medically-necessary treatment, whether for no-fault car insurance, to help with postnatal recovery, or other situations deemed appropriate.
Presently, we cannot accept insurance-as-payment, however, we will accommodate you if seeking insurance approval. You may get back all, or some, of the money you spent on Therapeutic Massage. The time your insurance company takes to approve, process, then print and mail a cheque, will vary.
With No-Fault with Authorization, in most instances, you must pay for
the session out of your own funds, and then submit a claim to
the insurer, and the insurer will reimburse you.
Please contact
us to find out the proper procedure; failure
to comply with standard protocol could result in a loss of eligibility
for reimbursement.
No Solicitation
Our Massage Therapists are carefully chosen Health Care Providers who love helping others; some are also nurses, others are psychologists and teachers. Any attempt at soliciting s-xual services will immediately be cause for termination of session. The therapists reserve the right to immediately leave the premises, and call for the police to help. Our therapist will file a written report, take her own photographs, and the police officers will grant access to your premises so that the therapist may take their belongings, and if necessary, identify the offender to facilitate arrest, if further boundaries were crossed that clearly violate state, or Federal, laws.
We will take it personally if you transgress our therapists' boundaries. This is not the sort of service you are looking for if that's your plan. We don't want your money. Keep your record spotless and avoid the hassle we will bring you. Just. Don't. Go. There.
Mountainside On-Site Massage Therapy often runs limited-time Monthly Special sales on services. These are indicated on our cart at Mountainside Diversified.Com. Who doesn't like a sale? Of course, everyone enjoys saving money.
You may also find coupons that may be used toward a Therapeutic Massage session. Coupons cannot be "stacked" or combined, and coupons are applied to the full price. If the service is presently on sale, coupons *cannot* be applied to the SALE PRICE without the permission of a Manager, so call to find out if it can be done. *(often, yes, but no guarantees) Also, Customer Service may sometimes permit an expired coupon from (slightly) earlier to be used, up to a week old at times. Call to see.
